Senior Compositor
JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Senior Compositor at Square, you’re not just mixing images. You’re part of a creative chat. You’ll work closely with Compositing Leads, compositing Supervisors, and VFX Supervisors to figure out the best way to make assigned shots look great. Your job includes putting together 2D, 3D, and live-action elements to make top-quality visual effects for films. You’ll also help train and support junior artists on the team.
Additionally, you’ll be responsible for;
Keeping the project on track by meeting schedules and show deadlines. Maintaining open lines of communication with Production. Balance the creative and technical elements of each shot, using your expertise in Nuke.
Job Requirements:
- A strong understanding of and experience using Nuke in production.
- Previous experience working on high-quality film and/or TV projects.
- Ability to work with multiple render passes.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive and collaborative approach to work.
- Keen attention to detail, composition, color, and lighting.
- Capability to multitask, prioritize, and solve problems.
Preferred Experience:
- Understanding of practical lighting techniques for photography.
- Familiarity with the entire VFX pipeline.
- Experience in client interaction and communication
- Background in programming and coding.
